There
are many excuses that people make for not wearing their seatbelts.

They
claim that they are good drivers.

may think it will not happen to you, but accidents occur every day.

claim that the seatbelts are uncomfortable.

Seatbelts
are installed in vehicles for the main purpose to save your life.

are a few ways that this solution can be achieved.

1966, Congress passed the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

purpose of this act is to reduce the death and injury rates caused from traffic
accidents.

Next,
is to get the federal government to enforce laws that require the driver and
passengers to wear seatbelts.

Before
starting the car, the driver can make sure that everyone is buckled up before
leaving.

will help reduce the risks of getting a ticket, or becoming injured.

what our future would look like if we do not wear our seatbelts.)
