Primary experiment or original research, an original letter

Primary
sources or materials are raw facts gotten from an event or study
of a person, an object or any work of art. As long as an information about
an event or observation of a person, an object or any work of art has not been
interpreted or altered but still in its original state, it is regarded as a
primary source. Primary source helps anyone in search of any particular
information about an event or study of a person, an object or any work of art
gets first-hand information for their works. Primary source relates the
observer’s direct view and they can serve as evidences for further researches.  Furthermore, they can be in written form, examples;
an original journal, diary, a novel, original notes from an experiment or
original research, an original letter etc or in non-written form, examples; a
piece of artwork or furniture, musical score or theatrical performance, sounds,
pictures etc. My personal experience with primary source is attending to
assignments during my Degree. A Professional Child Psychologist Interview of one of my psychology
courses. The questions of the interviewer are aimed at finding out more
information about the profession, and making the right career choice. The
interviewee is a non-academic child psychologist who has a doctoral degree in
psychology. This interview resulted in having first-hand information which
could be used by any as a source of a specific research.

 

Secondary sources or materials are any
information that is a modification, extraction, interpretation and evaluation
of any primary source or material. They are enhanced information or hybrid of
primary source because they explains, describes, interprets or analyses a
primary source for better understanding to any reader. Secondary sources or materials
can also be in either written form, examples; Bibliographies, Biographical
works, Reference books including dictionaries, encyclopaedias and atlases, Articles
from magazines, Literature reviews and review articles, History books, Works of
criticism and interpretation, Commentaries and treatises, Textbooks and Indexes
and abstracts etc or in non-written form (sound, pictures, movies, etc.)
